The Great Invocation — Experimental Meditation Version
Hemi-Sync-inspired audio experiment · Headphones recommended
About the experimental meditation layer
For this version of The Great Invocation, we made our first attempt at turning one of the songs into an experimental meditation track.
We added 369 Hz, 432 Hz, and 528 Hz tones, along with a 6 Hz left/right binaural difference intended to sit in the theta-range neighborhood. The approach is Hemi-Sync-inspired rather than actual Hemi-Sync technology.
Only afterward did we notice the numerical reduction:
- 369 → 9
- 432 → 9
- 528 → 6
- Difference → 6 Hz
9 → 9 → 6 → 6. We did not design that reduction into the experiment. It just showed up. Again.
Interesting recurrence, not proof of anything. We make no claim that these frequencies have special powers, that the recording reliably produces brainwave entrainment, or that it has any medical or consciousness-altering effect. Evidence for binaural-beat entrainment is mixed; this is an artistic and exploratory experiment using binaural-audio principles.
