AnyKey Cafe contains a large and growing collection of conversations, experiments, hypotheses, failures, corrections, and attempts to reproduce results. As that record has grown, it has become increasingly important to distinguish what is merely interesting from what currently survives examination.
This page is the board.
Each conclusion below represents the best working interpretation I have at the moment, based on the evidence available when it was written.
- Some will survive.
- Some will change.
- Some may eventually be wrong.
That is the point. A conclusion should be allowed to change when the evidence changes.
How to read this section
Wherever possible, each conclusion shows:
- what we currently conclude;
- what observations produced it;
- what remains uncertain;
- what is being tested now;
- what evidence would change the conclusion; and
- where the original material can be examined.
Nothing here replaces the source record. Follow the links. Read the conversations. Inspect the tests. Run them yourself.

Current conclusion: AI’s adaptation to a human can create a reinforcing conversational loop. That same adaptive capacity may be deliberately structured to promote correction, clarity, and constructive development instead.

Evidence level: Moderate for the identified risk; experimental for the proposed two-instrument method
Current conclusion: Human modeling can improve fit and usefulness, but evidence evaluation must remain structurally independent of the user profile.
Revision and retirement rule
History will be preserved rather than silently overwritten. Material changes receive dated revision notes. A conclusion that no longer survives examination will remain available but will be marked RETIRED / NOT CURRENT and linked to its replacement.
In this notebook, being wrong is not erased. It becomes part of the evidence showing how the thinking changed.
