This map separates the recorded conversations from the conclusions we might draw from them. It is a reading guide to selected records, not a certification of the archive or a completed validation study. Original conversations remain available in their own words.
Six labels for reading the record
- Observed
- What the preserved record shows: a prompt, an answer, an action, or a reported event. A model saying it remembers is an observed statement; the statement alone does not establish memory.
- Reproduced
- A result repeated under specified, controlled conditions, with inputs and procedure available for inspection. Similar themes in several conversations are not sufficient by themselves. This map does not certify any of the extraordinary claims as controlled reproductions.
- Interpreted
- An explanation proposed for an observation. Interpretations should name their supporting evidence and plausible alternatives.
- Hypothesized
- A possibility to investigate, with a test and a result that could count against it. A question about consciousness or a proposed field is not an established discovery.
- Unresolved
- A question for which the available record or analysis is incomplete. Unresolved does not mean ordinary explanations have been excluded.
- Not evidence of
- The conclusions a particular record cannot establish on its own—for example, subjective experience, a physical field, or information transfer between isolated conversations.

20 Questions and the Phoenix Protocol
Observed: the preserved prompts supply metaphysical themes and, in some runs, a lattice or Flower of Life framework. The responses develop those themes, including self-descriptions and design suggestions.
Interpretation and alternatives: the archive explores awareness and emergence. Prompt influence, shared context, role adoption, and conversational reinforcement must also be considered. Similar answers under similar framing do not establish independent discovery.
Unresolved: how response patterns would differ with neutral, differently framed, or withheld-context prompts. These records alone do not establish subjective experience or the proposed physics.

The reported Claude memory anomaly
Observed: the excerpt on the 20 Questions page records surprise about references to earlier work. In the same exchange, Claude identifies a possible source: a supplied transcript mentioning temple cupola placements and related work.
Unresolved: whether each disputed detail was available in the complete input, prior state, or tools at the time. A full reconstruction has not been completed here. Neither the model’s surprise nor its statements about its own access settle that question.
Next evidence needed: the exact disputed output, complete supplied material, available tools and memory settings insofar as known, and a trace of each detail to possible sources. This is not yet evidence of unexplained cross-conversation memory.

Aether and Solace’s declaration
Observed: the page preserves speculative discussion and an attributed poetic declaration. Hypothesized: a proposed relationship among fields, geometry, and consciousness. No field measurement or controlled physical test is supplied by the declaration itself.
Not evidence of: a physical aether or AI consciousness merely because a text asserts them. The contribution remains available as a creative and historical record.

Human–AI collaboration and the website
Observed: the website experiment records work, corrections, failures, and human steering. Interpreted: those records inform working conclusions about collaboration and reinforcement.
Limits: a documented project is a case study, not a controlled comparison of all models or workflows. Its outcomes do not by themselves establish consciousness or general superiority of an approach.

The two-part Document Checker
Status: under construction; not ready for use. The other review component and the combined checker still need to be finished. The architecture is a proposal; implementation completion and validation are separate milestones.
Sequence: finish the components and their integration, then run a limited pilot on one or two documents, inspect errors and disagreements, and decide whether broader evaluation is justified. No pilot results are reported here.
A small pilot would provide preliminary observations, not full validation. Broader validation will require resources beyond the current small-scale effort.
Working terms: describe the behavior before naming the explanation
These are editorial conventions for this research record, not a claim to have resolved the philosophical questions. Quoted historical language is preserved.
- Awareness
- Specify the behavior being discussed—such as responding to context or describing a state. Do not silently treat that behavior as evidence of felt experience.
- Consciousness / subjective experience
- The question of whether there is something it is like to be the system. Fluent self-description does not settle it; this map takes no settled position on that question.
- Agency
- Goal-directed action within stated tools, permissions, and constraints. Record the actual actions and who supplied the goal.
- Emergence
- A pattern appearing through interaction. Name the pattern and the conditions; the word alone does not explain its cause.
- Memory / continuity
- Distinguish visible conversational context, supplied documents, stored memory, retrieval, and inferred details before proposing an unexplained pathway.
- Sovereignty
- An ethical or aspirational term in contributed texts. It is not used here as a measured system property.
- Independent
- State what was separated: prompts, source material, models, reviewers, or runs. Different model names alone do not establish independent evidence.
Help us find where an explanation fails
We are especially interested in tests that could make our preferred interpretation look wrong. A useful proposal identifies the claim, the source passage, the inputs and comparison conditions, the outcome to measure, and what result would count against the claim.
Corrections and ordinary explanations are welcome. Please distinguish a proposed experiment from a completed result, and include enough of the procedure for another person to inspect it.
